Illegal game room disguised as a Zumba dance studio shut down by authorities
Harris County Constable Precinct 5 confiscated thousands of dollars in cash and shut down dozens of electronic gaming machines during a raid at an illegal game room in southwest Houston on Wednesday night.
The game room, located in the 10900 block of South Post Oak Road, was using a Zumba dance studio as a front for the illegal game room. Authorities arrested at least one person and seized 40 motherboards from the gaming machines.
Teenage girl in critical condition after being stabbed 22 times
A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition after authorities say she was stabbed more than a dozen times. Officials from Medina County Sheriff’s Department say the suspect is a 17-year-old boy.
Chase Skow is accused of stabbing the girl 22 times this afternoon before leading authorities on a chase. Skow was found shortly after sitting in the bleachers during a baseball practice, trying to blend in with the crowd.
Medina County Sheriff Randy Brown says they don´t know what led to the stabbing, but he is heartbroken this happened in Devine, TX, just outside of San Antonio.
“We all know each other around here. I know who she is. I know who he is. So we all know each other. It’s kind of a tight knit community”, said Brown.
